DataTerra

Data Terra is a research infrastructure whose aim is to make available atmospheric, climatic, oceanographic, seismic and space data, in order to understand and predict the history, functioning and evolution of the Earth system in an integrated way.

Data Terra's main mission is to develop a global system for accessing and processing data, products and services enabling integrated observation, understanding and forecasting of the history, functioning and evolution of the Earth system in the face of global change. Primarily intended for the scientific community, it is also aimed at public and innovation players. All these multi-source data, products and services are accessible via unified, coherent portals.

As a digital infrastructure for the environmental sector, Data Terra works in close collaboration with observation IRs and space agencies. It relies on a continuum of distributed, interconnected platforms, and offers services covering the entire data cycle: from access to value-added processing, facilitating cross-referencing, exploitation (of large volumes of data - especially space data) and the generation of on-demand information combining products from multiple, multi-disciplinary origins.
