EaSy Data (Earth System Data Repository) is the national thematic repository for orphan or long-tail data relating to the environment and Earth systems. It is supported by the Data Terra research e-infrastructure and operated by BRGM.
EaSy Data offers a user-friendly interface that is easy to use for depositing and searching data. It is based on standards recognized by the Earth System and Environment communities, facilitating the discovery and reuse of deposited data.
The metadata complies with FAIR principles in accordance with national and European recommendations. Vocabularies are used to improve the quality of dataset descriptions and ensure a certain level of interoperability between systems. A disciplinary moderation system ensures the quality of submissions. EaSy Data makes datasets from other thematic repositories (e.g., Seanoe, Data Indores) visible. Data stored in EaSy Data will be referenced at the national level in the Data Gouv research catalog.
