InDoRES

The InDoRES portal provides an inventory of databases and datasets on the environment and society through a standardized and interoperable metadata catalog.

This catalog complies with European standards and guidelines. At the same time, InDoRES aims to be a hub for Open Science and the FAIR principles associated with it. Definitions, resources, and accompanying guides are now available.

Under the supervision of the CNRS Ecology and Environment Institute and the National Museum of Natural History, the InDoRES portal offers:

– discover databases and datasets through descriptions of the projects that produce them (standardized and interoperable metadata catalog that complies with European directives). Where available, links are provided to downloadable data or related publications.

– access the secure data.InDoRES warehouse to publish data

– to gather and link to a set of resources on practices that facilitate data sharing and reuse, in accordance with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable)

The InDoRES portal describes databases and datasets using a standardized metadata catalog. It also allows research data to be published in a dedicated secure repository (data.indores) hosted at CC-IN2P3, the CNRS computing center.
