Meteo Data Gouv is a platform that centralizes and structures public data on weather and climate.

This platform is aimed at data re-users looking for raw data that can be downloaded and used free of charge, whether they come from the public sector, the private sector or civil society.

The following data are already available on the platform:

-Basic climatological data: climatological data from all French stations since their opening, for all available parameters.

-Climatological reference data for climate change: data recommended by Météo-France for climate diagnostics and studies.

The platform will then be progressively enriched with new data over the course of 2024, with the addition of a mass download of data packages from the ARPEGE and AROME numerical weather prediction models.

New functionalities to facilitate sorting and access to hosted data will also be offered to simplify the use of this data.
