Nakala is a comprehensive web application and repository for the humanities and social sciences. It is created and maintained in France by Huma-Num, the French infrastructure for digital humanities.

The Nakala data repository offers services at several stages in the life cycle of SHS research data: preservation, publication and reuse.

To be able to deposit data in Nakala, users must be part of the French academic world, or participate in a project whose main team is part of the French academic world.
