The Parcours des écoles d'ingénieurs Polytech (PeiP) is a 2-year preparatory course leading to admission to one of the schools in the Polytech network. The PeiP is organized in partnership with the Sciences et Montagne component of theUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc science, technology and health degree program. Validation of the PeiP qualifies students for the L2 level.
An identified and secure pathway to engineering school
■ The first 3 semesters of the program focus on academics basic sciences and engineering sciences
■ A minimum 4-week internship is carried out between semesters 2 and 3
■ The final semester opens up with a choice of 3 main areas of study:
Engineering sciences and computer science: Annecy and Chambéry
Physics Chemistry: Chambéry
Mechanical technology: Annecy and Chambéry
Train students in the techniques needed to understand the engineering profession, and learn more about the organization of a company.
Group work is developed through supervised personal assignments in areas such as construction, sustainable development, energy, mechanics, instrumentation and new information and communication technologies:

The PeiP also gives access to all the specialties offered by the schools in the Polytech network, with the exception of a few bio-based specialties.
If you don't pass the PeiP, you can go on to study for a bachelor's degree is possible.
