WHAT YOU LIKE

Improving, protecting, and enhancing our environment by working toward the ecological transition of businesses and regions in the face of climate change challenges.

Resilient territories where innovation, mutualization, and the circular economy promote equitable and sustainable economic and environmental development.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU

Being a committed player in the challenges of sustainable development at the regional level, exploring the circular economy, preserving resources, promoting renewable energies, reducing pollution, and designing innovative solutions.

TRAINING AT A GLANCE

  • Environment
  • Renewable energy
  • Waste treatment
  • Ecological transition
  • Circular economy

Industrial ecology is an environmental management approach that aims to minimize the environmental footprint of industry, based on:

  • analysis of material and energy flows within an industrial ecosystem
  • optimized management of resources including water, energy, raw materials, and waste
  • reducing the environmental impacts associated with human activities
  • project management incorporating technical aspects (process optimization, recycling, recovery, etc.) and human aspects (cooperation with local and industrial stakeholders)

SKILLS

  • Be able to understand an industrial and urban ecosystem in order to assess its interactions (material and energy flows) with the surrounding environment.
  • Manage and lead projects from conception to completion according to their technical, economic, and human dimensions.
  • Propose sober and efficient management of natural resources (air, water, energy, etc.)
  • Controlling environmental impacts
  • Developing efficient energy systems that integrate renewable energies
