The LISTIC laboratory

Intelligent systems

LISTIC 's scientific orientations are in line with the priorities given in France to Artificial Intelligence research and digital development. More specifically, LISTIC focuses on two fundamental aspects: learning (statistical, deep, data mining) and networks (security, storage, distribution).

LISTIC is developing its activities with new theories of uncertainty for information fusion and multivariate analysis for signal processing. In terms of applications, Artificial Intelligence is increasingly being used in two major fields to address environmental and societal issues:

  • remote sensing for Earth observation,
  • ambient intelligence combined with the Internet of Things to measure human activity and industrial performance.

Research work

LISTIC's scientific project focuses on machine learning and information fusion, as well as networks and systems.

His work focuses on the modeling, specification and development of theories, algorithms and systems for extracting and managing knowledge, particularly in the fields of Earth observation and human behavior.

LISTIC is a Research unit (UR) ofUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc, recognized since 2003 by the Ministry as a host team (EA3703).
