Dariah

DARIAH is a digital research infrastructure for the arts and humanities.

Its aim is to enhance and support digital-based research and teaching in the arts and humanities.

DARIAH integrates research and activities in the digital arts and humanities across Europe, enabling transnational and transdisciplinary approaches. In particular, it adds value for its members and stakeholders by validating and sharing data, services and tools, providing academics and educational opportunities, enabling "bottom-up" organization around emerging research needs, and exercising a foresight and policy engagement role.

Through these activities, DARIAH promotes the development of research methods in the arts and humanities, documenting the state of the art, supporting the preservation and curation of research data, focusing on particular challenges such as diversity, provenance, multimedia collections and granularity, and acting as coordinator and integrator for a diverse community of practice.
