DUMAS Université Savoie Mont Blanc

Master's-level work carried out atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc can now be promoted through the DUMAS (Dépôt Universitaire de Mémoires Après Soutenance) open archive database.

Hosted by HAL (Hyper Article en Ligne), a CNRS database, the DUMAS archives are a repository for juried dissertations at bac+4 and bac+5 levels. All disciplines are covered.

Why?

université Savoie Mont Blanc has its own collection within the DUMAS open archives. The referencing of dissertations enables :

• quick and easy access to documents thanks to the database's indexing mechanisms.
• increased visibility for the company and its academics offering through the work carried out in-house.
• better dissemination and reuse of work (sustainable citation and referencing).
• to promote and protect students' work.

How?

The selection of a thesis is established at the time of the defense, by the jury, which gives its agreement to the distribution of the work. Confidential aspects can be managed, as far as possible, in the form of appendices removed from the archived document. It is also possible to mark the dissertation by deferring access to the full text (embargo).

The procedure is intended to be as simple as possible, and can be carried out remotely thanks to the dematerialization of documents, but it must nevertheless comply with the following conditions:

1. Download and sign the authorisation for distribution by the applicant and the dissertation director.
2. Download and sign the Anti-plagiarism declaration of honour
3. Fill in the deposit form. This form enables you to reliably gather the information required for archiving.
4. Generate dissertation file in PDF format
