Your registration involves both the managers of your doctoral schools in Grenoble and the managers of the USMB college.
Registration for the first year is subject to the agreement of the director of your Doctoral School and the director of the USMB Doctoral College.
Registration is divided into 2 main phases: pedagogical registration (from July) with your Doctoral School and administrative registration (from September) with your USMB site school.

It is divided into two main stages: pedagogical registration and administrative registration.
Educational re-registration
Educational re-registration is a 4-step process:
Login to your personal account on theADUM website
Update and/or complete the various tabs carefully and in detail.
Remember to fill in the description of the progress of your thesis.
Any modification, addition or deletion concerning your supervision must be justified by your thesis director in the "thesis director's comments" section.
Send the minutes of the doctoral student's individual follow-up committee to the doctoral school administrator, via your laboratory:
- your signed RST with the waiver request validated by your doctoral school
According to your Doctoral School , only the CSID report is required. However, a waiver is required from the 4th year onwards, and in the case of a cotutelle, an amendment must be drawn up.
Once you have received a favorable notification from the USMB Doctoral College, you will be sent an e-mail with the procedure for finalizing your administrative registration with your site school from September 1.
The registration fee for the preparation of national doctoral diplomas is 391€. You must also pay a student and campus life contribution (CVEC) of 103€.
Case of defenses taking place before the end of the current year
Doctoral students due to defend their thesis before December 31 do not need to re-register: their registration runs until the end of the year.
Failure to re-register a doctoral student is tantamount to discontinuing the thesis.
