Thanks to its partnership with Bonlieu Scène Nationale (Annecy), the USMB can offer you free or discounted tickets to shows all year round! Wednesday January 31 at 8.30pmthe university invites you to attend the play "A huis clos".

Free places are available, reserved exclusively for USMB students and pupils from the Institut de academics en Soins Infirmiers (IFSI) in Chambéry and Annecy. Funded by the Contribution à la vie étudiante et de campus (CVEC).

ABOUT THE SHOW

Mythical rapper, writer, scriptwriter, poet, but above all a deeply humanist, Kery James is back on stage. He revives his favourite character, a young lawyer from a Parisian suburb, by placing him at the heart of a France battered by a failing justice system. It's a new battle, a ferocious attempt to settle scores, which turns into a wild debate. Kery James awakens a political, radical and necessary theater!

After witnessing the trial of his brother's murderer, a police officer, the young lawyer Soulaymann is disgusted by what seems to him to be a parody of a trial. Rebellious, listening only to his pain, he goes so far as to break into the apartment of the judge who cleared the murderer's name. He promises himself that this time the action will take place behind closed doors! A night fraught with danger, during which, despite everything, a dialogue is established between two visions of the world. For this high-voltage duet, Marc Lainé multiplies the points of view, invokes video and the performing arts, and builds an implacable arena. What will be the outcome of the hostage-taking? Do all lives carry the same weight? A play that shakes our convictions!
