Conference "The Alps at 50°C, what are the challenges facing the region?

The Institut des Transitions de l'université Savoie Mont Blanc and The Shifters Annecy are organizing a conference entitled "Les Alpes à 50°, quels enjeux de territoire?". The conference will take place on Thursday April 11, 2024 at Amphithéâtre 12 of IAE ANNECY, from 7pm to 9pm. The conference is open to all, and will address the subject of heatwaves in the Alps.

About the conference

Alexandre Florentin(President of the "Paris at 50°C" mission) and Xavier Bodin (CNRSresearcher at USMB's EDYTEM laboratory) will share their expertise and discuss "The Alps at 50°C".

The conference is free and open to all, with registration.

About the Institute...

Created at the end of 2023, the Institut des Transitions is a USMB department in charge of supporting the emergence of innovative and collaborative projects or approaches in the field of environmental, industrial and societal transitions.
As a forum for exchange and co-construction, the Institut des Transitions facilitates interdisciplinary approaches in academics and research, as well as open innovation initiatives, in conjunction with numerous USMB stakeholders.
