Drawing Week - Campus du Bourget

A sketch of a silhouette, the beauty of a landscape, a story that comes to life on paper. A creative vision expressed with the tip of a pencil or charcoal. From November 6 to 10we invite you to plunge into the world of drawing and its techniques.

This event is organized by the Service Vie Étudiante et de Campus and financed by the CVEC.

Our students have talent! Throughout the week, discover the artists around you by browsing the exhibition of student creations set up at the BU and in the EVE building.

Tuesday, November 7
A watercolor workshop with artist Julie Wintz-Litty
A special guest at this year's USMB Drawing Week, Savoy-based illustrator Julie Wintz-Litty will share her talent and advice with you at a watercolor workshop. A graduate of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Lyon and the renowned École Emile Cohl, Julie began her career in 1994. As an animal artist, she draws and paints the species she knows best: mountain animals.

We look forward to seeing you in room 102 of the BU from 12h to 13h30 to discover, deepen or simply enjoy creating with watercolor. No need to bring any materials, just your creative spirit! Following this workshop, the works created will be exhibited at the BU during the Semaine Étudiante de Réduction des Déchets, which takes place from November 20 to 24 on the Bourget campus. Please note: places for the workshop are limited, so don't delay in registering!

Comics and manga favourites
Whether you're a fan of Hergé, Enki Bilal, Frank Miller, Stan Lee or Takeshi Obata, come and discuss your favorite artists with the student relays and discover the literary favorites of the USMB librarians! Meet from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in the lobby of your BU.

Wednesday, November 8
Introduction to felt-tip drawing
After enjoying a good cup of coffee and catching up on the latest student news at Café Relais, we invite you to make yourself comfortable for a drawing lesson with Tom, a Biology student. He'll share with you his passion for drawing and his invaluable advice on how to get started with felt-tip pens. Meeting point from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in building 6 (EVE). No need to bring your own materials - everything is provided on site!

Thursday, November 9
Free drawing workshop
Let your creativity flow during your lunch break! Whether you're a budding artist or an experienced one, we'll provide you with all the tools you need to express yourself freely on paper. The workshop is open from 12pm to 1:30pm in building 6 (EVE)A team of relay students will be on hand to welcome you with a smile (and a cup of coffee!).
