"Yurei" - Dance & live music

Thanks to its partnership with Bonlieu Scène Nationale (Annecy), the USMB can offer you free or discounted tickets to shows all year round! On Thursday February 1 at 7:00 pm, the university invites you to attend the dance show "Yurei".

Free places are available, reserved exclusively for USMB students and pupils from the Institut de academics en Soins Infirmiers (IFSI) in Chambéry and Annecy. Funded by the Contribution à la vie étudiante et de campus (CVEC).

ABOUT THE SHOW

Between classical pointe, urban dance and cyber-robots, choreographers Christophe Béranger and Jonathan Pranlas-Descours organize a bewitching journey between mythology and manga, set to the sound of a soul-tinged beatbox. The art of making spirits dance!

The ghost of Petrushka, an icon of classical ballet, meets that of a Japanese "yūrei" (ghost) from a comic strip. Between them, a singular pas de deux unfolds. The bodies are adorned with light and digital landscapes. Live electro music triggers their transformation into fantastic, fascinating creatures of light. An electrifying show!
