Plants in both terrestrial and aquatic environments are subject to climate change (rising temperatures, falling rainfall, etc.) and pollutants (such as pesticides).
What are the effects of these global changes on plants? How are ecosystems and agrosystems affected? Why is it so important to preserve the biodiversity of our environments? Scientific experiments, both in the laboratory and in the natural environment, help to provide answers and make proposals for action.
Elements of an answer with the conference "Plants and global change"presented by Geneviève Chiapusio, teacher-researcher at the Center Alpin de Recherche sur les Réseaux Trophiques des Écosystèmes Limniques (CARRTEL), UFR Sciences et Montagne, which will take place Tuesday February 13, 2024 at 6pm at the Présidence de l'USMB in Chambéry.
