Why leave?

Studying abroad can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your student life.

Here are 3 good reasons (there are many more, in fact!) for international mobility.

Totally immersed in another culture, you have the perfect opportunity to improve your foreign language skills and why not become totally bilingual! According to one study, 86% of students report an improvement in their language skills when they return from a work placement.

Thanks to your international mobility, your technical vocabulary is enriched (even if the first courses in your partner university can be complicated to follow!). This is an invaluable asset for your future recruiters, and will help you land your first job more quickly (in 2.9 months instead of 4.6 months).

There are different ways of thinking, seeing and experiencing things. Every country has its own culture, customs and history. By spending a semester or a year abroad, you can develop your curiosity and open-mindedness .

It's also a real chance to develop multicultural friendships and build an international network that could lead to real professional opportunities later on.

Working solo abroad, you're on your own. A unique experience that takes you out of your comfort zone and builds your self-confidence!

You'll gain in adaptability and autonomy, not to mention invaluable travel skills that you can use anywhere in the world after your studies. A great challenge for getting to know yourself and discovering your strengths and limits!

Where to go?

Europe, Asia, the Americas... Thanks to USMB's agreements with hundreds of universities around the world, the world is open to you!

Your contacts at USMB

At the USMB, the International Relations Department (DRI) supports the internationalization of the university and the development of international partnerships. It is this department that organizes international exchanges for students wishing to study abroad, and welcomes international students to the USMB.

To be as close as possible to you, International Relations correspondents are present in each of the university's departments, mainly to answer questions of a pedagogical nature. Don't hesitate to contact them for personalized information on international affairs.
