Did you know that with the help of a healthcare professional, you're 70% more likely to succeed in quitting smoking?
In November, as part of Tobacco-Free Month, the USMB Student Health Service is offering free, one-to-one consultations with a tobaccologist on your campus. Don't wait any longer to make an appointment and give yourself the best chance of quitting smoking!
These consultations are financed by the CVEC and the Caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).
Jessica Dalex, tobaccologist with La Ligue Contre Le Cancer Savoie, will be happy to welcome you by appointment on Monday November 20 at the Student Health Service (building H of the IUT) on the Annecy campus. During your consultation, she'll review your smoking profile with you and offer you tailored support. She can also dispense nicotine substitutes that limit or even eliminate the effects of nicotine withdrawal (nervousness, irritability, difficulty concentrating, depressed mood, increased appetite, etc.). Little by little, the need to smoke diminishes until it disappears!
