Student Waste Reduction Week - Annecy Campus

From November 20 to 24It's Student Waste Reduction Week (SERD ) on the 3 USMB campuses! It's a time for exchanges and events to learn about good practices for better consumption, better production, longer product life and, above all, less waste. This year, the national theme is packaging.

DIY creative workshops, sports fairs, exhibitions, carpooling competitions, information stands, screenings/debates, eco-friendly recipes and more. A rich and varied program awaits you on each campus to learn how to adapt your daily production and consumption of packaging.

ON THE PROGRAM

Totem of ecology
Monday 20th to Tuesday 23rd - in the IAE / IUT / Polytech halls
Let's change the way we think about the environment! This Totem raises awareness and teaches us simple methods for preserving the Ecology (food, waste, waste management, energy management, soft mobility, ...).

Carpool Challenge
All week / online
Carpooling competition, on the ETY'VAon the Sports Department website.

Casual evening board games
Tuesday 20 - BU - 6:30 to 8:30 pm
For this new edition, we're offering a board games evening! Whether you're playing Loup Garou or Cluedo, choose your team and enjoy the evening! Syrups and cakes will be available.
Free but compulsory registration!

STANDS Raising awareness about waste reduction
Monday 20 - IUT hall - 12pm to 2pm
- Bee Wrap workshop: Using fabric and beeswax, these wraps allow you to transport and preserve food without using aluminum foil or cling film. It's zero waste, virtually zero budget and ... super easy to make!
- Various ERVE workshops for waste reduction: Do-it-yourself means learning to repair, reuse, waste less, reduce waste... in short, it means moving towards a slightly more ecological lifestyle. And what's more, it's fun and within everyone's reach! On the program: furoshiki workshops, a little coffee to keep in shape, and lots of information.
- Stand to raise awareness of packaging reduction in industry.
- Anti gaspi proposed by the ERS: Join the Relais Santé students to share practical advice on how to reduce food waste: Understand use-by dates, cook leftovers, share recipes... and save money too!

- Waste sorting and reduction workshop: take part in a fun activity to learn how to sort waste more effectively.
- Various ERVE workshops for waste reduction: Do-it-yourself means learning to repair, reuse, waste less, reduce waste... in short, it means moving towards a more ecological way of life. And what's more, it's fun and within everyone's reach!

Wednesday 22 - Polytech hall - 12pm to 2pm
- Tired of household products with unknown ingredients? Then come and learn how to make your own dishwashing soaps and interior cleaning products.
- Various ERVE workshops for waste reduction: Do-it-yourself means learning to repair, reuse, waste less, reduce waste... in short, it means moving towards a more ecological lifestyle. And what's more, it's fun and within everyone's reach!
On the program: Furoshiki workshops, a little coffee to keep in shape and lots of information.

- Distribution of ordered crates from Légumes et Cagettes Rebelles.

Wednesday 22nd - Polytech hall - 9am to 6pm
Bring what you want and take what you like.
As part of the European Week for Waste Reduction, SVEC and its relay students are mobilizing to offer you a donnerie, a free store on your campus.
It's easy to take part: just bring your unused clothes, small furniture, decorations, kitchen utensils and books (no bulky items) directly to the polytech hall, where our relay students will be waiting for you. Then, you'll have the whole day to come and pick up a piece of your choice.
