DELAYED - 9th Conference on Retrograde Stochastic Differential Equations and Mean-Field Systems

June 29th 2020 08:00 - July 3rd 2020 18:00

In view of the current health context, the organizers, in agreement with the conference's scientific committee (comprising 14 international researchers), have decided to postpone the event to the following year, on similar dates in 2021.

The LAboratoire de MAthématiques (LAMA) atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc is organizing the 9th conference on Stochastic Retrograde Differential Equations (SRDE) and mean-field systems on the Annecy campus, on the premises of IAE Savoie Mont Blanc, from June 29 to July 03, 2020.

The 9th International Symposium on Backward Stochastic Differential Equations and Mean Field Systems brings together researchers from all over the world to discuss promising topics in probability and, more specifically, stochastic analysis: Backward Stochastic Differential Equations (BSDE) and Mean Field Systems. It follows in the footsteps of several conferences organized every 3 years around the theme of SRDEs. For example, the last three conferences were held in Edinburgh (Scotland) in 2017, Shandong (China) in 2014 and Los Angeles (USA) in 2011.

The conference, at which 200 researchers are expected, will also include a summer school for PhD students on Sunday June 28, and a half-day session devoted to the use of EDSRs and medium-field systems in industry, with invitations to practitioners (bankers, R&D engineers).
