From 4 March to 10 March 2018, the IDÉFI-CréaTIC Art[S], Language[S] and Heritage[S] Workshop-Laboratory will be held in Chambéry.
As part of this new Workshop-Laboratory, a hypermedia device based on Carole Brandon's work SIRESSE will be imagined and built: a map sewn and created using screenshots extracted from the BRICKX application.
The device will give participants the opportunity to link in real time the collection of words, narratives and stories during the following week in Mayotte with this map thus transformed, transferred to Chambéry on the work and on the application. This work can then be exhibited in different places.
This workshop will be supervised by:
- Carole Brandon, artist and specialist in research/creation devices, Doctor of Arts and Sciences of Art and Associate of Fine Arts, Director of the Hypermedia Communication Department of theUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB);
- Ghislaine Chabert, usage specialist, lecturer in Information and Communication Sciences, Head of the Information Communication Bachelor's degree in the hypermedia communication department of the USMB, head of Axis 2 of the LLSETI Laboratory "Text, Image and Digital Arts";
- Edwige Lelièvre, lecturer in information and communication sciences, teacher in digital arts (3D computer graphics, video games, multimedia culture) at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin.
- Marc Veyrat, artist and network specialist, lecturer in arts and art sciences and associate professor of visual arts, head of the Master's degree in Digital Creation , hypermedia communication department, USMB and the IDÉFI-CréaTIC Workshop-Laboratory.
