Geography Night

Geography Night will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 in many cities across Europe. On this occasion, theAssociation des Géographes de Savoie (AGS) is organizing four lectures starting at 7pm in Amphi 30 of the Pôle Montagne on the Bourget-du-Lac campus.

The program

- 19h10-19h40: "Two geographers and engraved rocks in Guadeloupe" by Christophe Gauchon
- 19h45-20h15: "The rise of tourism in Iceland: the case of the Blue Lagoon" by Lionel Laslaz
- 8:30-9 p.m.: "Paragliding through the sky: a geographical practice in tune with the winds" by Camille Girault
- 9:05pm-9:25pm: "Geohistory of pro-glacial torrents using imaging tools: the example of the Mer de Glace" by Laurent Astrade
