The eco-responsible Triple Mountain raid is back for a 4th edition, on the weekend of April 14 and 15, 2018. Organized by the Bureau des Élèves de Polytech Annecy-Chambéry and the Bureau des Etudiants en Activités Physiques et Sportives de l'Université Savoie Mont Blanc, this event aims to showcase the Samoëns Valley through a sporting encounter combining competition, conviviality and mountain discovery.
The first event, the Bike&Run, kicks off on the morning of the first day (an event combining the two disciplines of cycling and running, with one bike per team of three), where participants must cover 12km as quickly as possible, swapping bikes at the most favorable moments. In the afternoon, the obstacle course will be set up, with a series of obstacles over 5, 10 or 15 km, depending on the determination of each participant. On the second day, in the morning, the orienteering race (7 km) will take place, and finally the afternoon will end with a 9 km trail through the mountains, with 600 m of ascent.
