The conference "Soyons " Zen " ! A reflection on the value of carbon", presented by Aude Pommeret, university professor at theInstitut de Recherche en Gestion et Économie (IREGE), IAE Savoie Mont Blanc, will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 6pm at La Turbine in Annecy.
It will also be held on Tuesday November 12, 2019 at 6pm in Chambéry (Présidence de l'USMB).
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Following the Paris Agreement, France's ambition is to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions on national soil by 2050. This is the "ZEN" objective: zero net emissions of greenhouse gases linked to human activities, with residual gross emissions to be absorbed by carbon sinks such as forests, grasslands and, in the longer term, technical carbon capture and sequestration systems. This ambition must be embodied in changes in behavior and in public and private investment. To trigger these changes, we need to put a value on carbon. Aude Pommeret participated as a scientific expert in the drafting of the report "La valeur de l'action pour le climat", published by France Stratégie in February 2019, under the direction of Alain Quinet.
