On Friday, November 9, 2018, the association Science-Actions is offering a ciné-science screening with the film "Dans les blés - Des semences pour changer le monde". The film will be shown at the Astrée cinema in Chambéry, starting at 8:30pm.

Pierre is a biotechnologist, Florent an organic farmer and Isabelle an agronomist. Each of them is working to create new wheat varieties, but they're doing it in very different ways...
What worlds are they sowing at a time when agricultural change is intensifying? Faced with global food and economic challenges, choices have to be made, questioning our relationship with the plant, the land and technology.
What kind of wheat do we want for tomorrow? For what kind of society?
The documentary screening will be followed by a discussion session.

They offer the general public the chance to debate with experts, researchers and professionals over a screening, on a wide range of subjects, many of them topical.
