Management committee for the ANTEA project, edible flowers: innovations for the development of a cross-border industry

TheUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc with its Laboratoire d'Optimisation de la Conception et Ingénierie de l'Environnement (LOCIE) is organizing, on September 16 and 17, 2019, a management committee for the Interreg ALCOTRA 2014-2020 ANTEA project. These two days take place on the Bourget-du-Lac campus.

About the ANTEA project

The project aims to reorganize the emerging edible flower sector, by applying technological innovations capable of enhancing every aspect of production, quality, safety of use, packaging, transport, preservation, processing and marketing. It is led by CREA, a reference center for agricultural research based in San Remo, Italy. As part of the project, LOCIE atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) is focusing on the search for technological alternatives based on the use of renewable energies in greenhouse cultivation, with particular reference to rural and mountain areas. It is also planned to set up a demonstrator in the region, to showcase the methodologies and technologies developed during the project.
