The University of Savoie Mont Blanc, through its Laboratory for Design Optimization and Environmental Engineering (LOCIE), is hosting a steering committee meeting for the Interreg ALCOTRA 2014–2020 ANTEA project on September 16 and 17, 2019. The two-day event will take place on the Bourget-du-Lac campus.
About the ANTEA Project
The project aims to reorganize the emerging edible flower sector through the application of technological innovations capable of enhancing every aspect related to production, quality, safety, packaging, transportation, storage, processing, and marketing. It is led by CREA, a leading agricultural research center based in San Remo, Italy. As a project partner, LOCIE at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) focuses primarily on researching technological alternatives based on the use of renewable energy in greenhouse cultivation, with a particular emphasis on rural and mountainous areas. In addition, plans are underway to establish a demonstration site in the region, which could serve as a showcase for the methodologies and technologies developed during the project.
