Lecture "Dagognet's biological philosophy and ethical problems

As part of the cycle of philosophical conferences on ethical issues, the Langages, Littératures, Sociétés, Études Transfrontalières et Internationales (LLSETI) laboratory atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) and the Association des professeurs de philosophie de l'enseignement public are organizing a conference on the theme of "Dagognet's biological philosophy and ethical issues", led by Pascal Bouvier, lecturer in philosophy at USMB.

This conference will take place on Wednesday, January 15, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm in Room 3 of the USMB Presidency in Chambéry.

About the conference

Philosopher and physician François Dagognet has taught generations of students an open, curious and joyful epistemology. An iconoclastic philosopher, he reflected on the living as much as on life. This talk will show how a way of thinking that follows Canguilhem as much as the great medical theories enables us to understand our contradictions and uncertainties.
