This year, France is the guest of honor at the world's largest book fair, which takes place from October 11 to 15, 2017 in Germany, in Frankfurt am Main. In 1937, 80 years ago, German émigrés who had fled Nazi Germany, organized an exhibition " German Literature in Paris 1837-1937 " to coincide with the World's Fair in the French capital to represent "the other Germany".
From October 2 to 20, two USMB teacher-researchers are organizing a book exhibition at the university library on the Chambéry/Jacob-Bellecombette campus. It is accompanied by an exhibition made available by the town of Sanary-sur-Mer, the capital of German literature at the time.
