From March 5 to May 18, the "Plus d'égalité" (More Equality) Festival will take place on theUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) campuses, and in partner venues. Taking the time to ask questions, accepting confrontation, imagining solutions, but above all thinking together and debating together around questions of equality, that's the aim of the different events of this festival. The USMB offers conferences, round-table discussions and encounters with artists and specialists, who will question our representations of relations between women and men.
On Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10 a.m., in the Decottignies amphitheater at the USMB presidency in Chambéry, there will be ameeting withAnnie Ernaux, a French author who works mainly on autobiographical material, and USMB literature students.
USMB President Denis Varaschin welcomes Annie Ernaux alongside Patrick Longuet, professor of contemporary literature in the Lettres department of theUFR LLSH. A dialogue between two generations of women: third-year literature students have carefully read Annie Ernaux's books. They will share the literary and personal questions these books raise in relation to their own lives.
