The Haute-Savoie Science Village of the Fête de la science 2019 will be inaugurated by a conference on"Glacier evolution: a cross-section of glaciology and satellite imagery". The talk will be given by Sylvain Coutterand, geomorphologist and research associate at USMB's Environnements, Dynamiques et Territoires de la Montagne (EDYTEM) laboratory, and Jean-Marie Nicolas, retired professor in the Image, Signal, Données department at Télécom Paris Tech.
It will be heldon Friday, October 11, 2019 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in amphitheater B14 at Polytech Annecy-Chambéry, on the Annecy university campus.
