The "Universités Grenoble Alpes Savoie Mont Blanc" final of the international "Ma thèse en 180 secondes" (MT180) competition will take place online on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, starting at 6 p.m. on mt180.fr and on the UGA YouTube channel.
An online vote is organized, with prior registration, to award the Internet users' prize during the event. Registration possible until Monday March 8, 2021 at 12 noon: [register]
This unique scientific popularization exercise involves PhD candidates presenting the subject of their thesis in just 3 minutes. At this local final, Vanille Quinty and Baptiste Boggio, the two USMB doctoral students selected in the Savoie pre-selection, will compete alongside candidates from the Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA).
At the end of this scientific and interactive evening, the two PhD students selected by the jury will be given access to the national semi-final on April 1, in a bid for a place in the national final in June 2021. The competition will conclude with the international final in Paris in autumn 2021.
