On November 28 and 29, 2019, a hackathon dedicated to making the most of financial data in the local public sector will be held on the Bourget-du-Lac campus, organized byUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc, the Savoie Departmental Directorate of Public Finances and the Haute-Savoie Departmental Directorate of Public Finances.
The hackathon
As part of the Law for a Digital Republic, the economic and financial ministries are currently making 367 datasets available to the public. However, while this data is available, it is still not very accessible. The hackathon will bring together academics, students, local elected officials and state and local civil servants around "challenges", designed to enhance the value of available public financial information, at the service of territories.
Program (provisional) :
- November 28: opening of the hackathon, discovery of the challenges, team work ;
- November 29: team work, report back at the end of the day.
