On September 1 at 9 a.m., new staff will meet at the university presidency in Chambéry. They will be able to finalize their administrative formalities and take part in a academics session on safety in the workplace. The meeting will also be an opportunity for them to have an initial friendly exchange with their new colleagues.
Face-to-face meetings and online tools
The program has been redesigned to adapt to the health context created by the coronavirus epidemic. Part of the program is offered face-to-face, and the rest is completed online using a variety of tools:
- A web page provides all the information new staff need,
- A virtual chat room puts new arrivals in touch with university departments. Staff can ask questions about their new working environment, career management, academics, international mobility, etc.
- A digital alternative is provided to offer academics security in the event that the event cannot take place.
