New staff members are expected to arrive at the university president's office in Chambéry at 9 a.m. on September 1. They will be able to complete their administrative formalities and participate in workplace safety training. This meeting will also give them an opportunity to get to know their new colleagues in a relaxed setting.
Face-to-face meetings and online tools
The program has been redesigned to adapt to the health context related to the coronavirus epidemic. Part of the program is offered in person, and is supplemented online using various tools:
- A webpage provides all the necessary information for new staff members.
- A virtual chat room connects newcomers with university services. Staff can ask questions about their new work environment, career management, training, international mobility, etc.
- A digital alternative is planned to offer safety training in the event that the event cannot take place.
