about modern language week

Aimed at highlighting languages and linguistic diversity in schools and establishments, as well as outside the classroom, this event is a key opportunity to encourage the use of languages. It is aimed at all students in schools, colleges and lycées, as well as their families and the general public. The theme chosen for 2018 is "Osons les langues, de la maternelle à l'Université". Organized every year in May, this week aims to raise public awareness of the linguistic diversity that exists in France, and the assets that modern languages represent. It also aims to encourage people to learn and use them.
