About the Lunch seminar
What role can historical heritage play in a tourist destination focused on sports and recreational activities?
At a time when ski resorts are diversifying their tourism offer, can historical heritage be an element of diversification alongside natural heritage? How can we make the most of our historical heritage for skiers, especially in winter? What adaptations are needed between summer and winter? What role do tourist offices play in promoting local historical heritage, particularly in resorts? What impact has the Loi Notre had on the promotion of historical heritage? What impact has the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire label had on tourism development in Savoie?
Come and discuss these issues with :
- Monique Dacquin, President of theSavoie Mont-Blanc Heritage Guides Association;
- Bertille Favre, project manager for the Pays d'art et d'histoire label, member of the cultural department of the Communauté de communes de la Vallée de Chamonix Mont-Blanc and the Communauté de communes du Pays du Mont-Blanc;
- Sandrine Perez, from the FACIM foundation, will present the Pays d'art et d'histoire des Hautes vallées de Savoie label, which covers the Maurienne, Tarentaise, Beaufortain and Val d'Arly valleys;
- Corinne Raïh, project manager at Savoie Mont-Blanc Tourisme.
