  • Thursday March 14 at 8pm in amphitheatre 11000 on the Jacob-Bellecombette campus.

About Fanny De Chaillé's creation

L'ordre du discours was the title chosen by Michel Foucault for his inaugural lecture at the Collège de France on December 2, 1970. The aim of Fanny de Chaillé, artist associated with Malraux, in this new creation is to give substance to this thought, and to use theater to fill the void left by the absence of a recording of this moment. With the student spectators, the aim is to question the language and form of discourse (and its inherent contradictions). In addition to the initial score, we've added writings by Beckett, Artaud and Wolfson, authors who also attempted to rethink language by confronting it. Because to think is to move, how does it move when you think? An unusual and surprising answer to be seen in March in the amphitheatre!
