  • Tuesday, March 12 at 8 p.m. in the Decottignies amphitheater, at 27 rue Marcoz in Chambéry;
  • Wednesday, March 13 at 8:00 p.m. in the amphitheater of Building 8B (formerly the Nivolet amphitheater) on the Bourget-du-Lac campus;

About Fanny De Chaillé's creation

The Order of Discourse is the title chosen by Michel Foucault for his inaugural lecture at the Collège de France on December 2, 1970. Fanny de Chaillé, an artist associated with Malraux, has set herself the goal of bringing this idea back to life and using theater to fill the void left by the absence of any recording of this moment. Together with the student audience, she seeks to question the language and form of discourse (and its inherent contradictions). The initial score is supplemented by writings by Beckett, Artaud, and Wolfson, authors who also attempted to rethink language by confronting it. Because thinking is moving, how does it move when it thinks? An unusual and surprising answer to be seen in March in the amphitheater!
