On Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 6:30pm, the Science-Actions association invites you to discuss the contribution of neuroscience to the school environment. The "Neuroscience at school" Café science is offered as a videoconference(instructions for use).
Neuroscience at school
This café science will examine the place of cognitive science and advances in knowledge about the brain in the school environment. It will also question pedagogical practices, the development or rediscovery of so-called "personalized" methods, and their levels of proof. But between myths, hopes and reality, what place does this "neuro-education" have in our understanding of student success and in the practice of teachers? And in this context, what role can social and cultural determinants play in the development and success of learners?
Come and discuss this topic with speakers specializing in this field:
- Arnaud Carré, moderator, teacher-researcher in psychology, Laboratoire Inter-universitaire de Psychologie (LIP/PC2S - USMB/UGA)
- Anne Chaix, retired school teacher and education activist
- Jean-Pierre Chevrot, teacher-researcher in sociolinguistics at the Laboratoire de Linguistique et Didactique des Langues Étrangères et Maternelles (LIDILEM - UGA)
- Jérôme Clerc, teacher-researcher in cognitive psychology at the Laboratoire de Psychologie et NeuroCognition (LPNC, CNRS/UGA/USMB), and deputy director ofINSPE Grenoble in charge of research.
- Annique Smeding, teacher-researcher in social psychology, specializing in educational social psychology, Laboratoire Inter-universitaire de Psychologie (LIP/PC2S - USMB/UGA)
