Assistance for business creation

Thanks to its technology transfer and business creation assistance activities, the USMB supports project leaders, whether they are researchers or students. USMB participates in the SATT LINKSIUM (Société d'Accélération de Transfert de Technologies de Grenoble Alpes) as a founding member.

The emergence of start-ups: an example with WENS

WENS is a company that was founded at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc in 2017. This company is developing a glove, equipped with small pimples in contact with the palm and fingers, for use in aquatic environments. This device, which stimulates the hand's receptors to regain tactile sensitivity, is intended for people suffering from sensory disorders of the hand due to a pathology, an accident or an operation. Wens targets directly rehabilitation professionals, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation centers. This company was developed as part of the USMB's entrepreneurship program and then benefited from the support of the SATT linksium (maturation technoflash) in connection with a university laboratory.
