The lecture "Le rêve : ce que nous apprennent les neurosciences", presented by Jean-Baptiste Eichenlaub, lecturer at the Laboratoire de Psychologie et NeuroCognition (LPNC), UFR Lettres, Langues et Sciences Humaines, will take place on Tuesday January 26, 2021 at 6:30pm. Please note a change of venue: the conference will take place at the Cité Scolaire Jeanne d'Arc instead of the Médiathèque d'Albertville.

About the conference

Little is known about dreams and how the brain produces them during sleep. Nevertheless, recent discoveries in neuroscience have led to a better understanding of how and why we dream. Behavioral and brain-imaging studies of dream content and neural correlates have highlighted the typical characteristics of dream narratives, their frequency and variability within the population and over time, and the brain structures and activities associated with their content.
