LEARNING DEPARTMENT

The Accompagnement numérique et à distance pour la réussite des étudiants (APPRENDRE) department supports teachers in setting up educational activities adapted to today's students.

The department's missions are to :

  • train and upgrade the skills of the university's teaching teams,
  • support teachers and staff at theUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc in their efforts to adopt new teaching practices,
  • advise the establishment and monitor university pedagogy and digital technology in an educational context,
  • work as part of a network to unite the various players involved in digital university education around common initiatives

THE INSTITUTE OF TRANSITIONS

The Institut des Transitions is a department created in December 2023 withinUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc, to strengthen the university's commitment and impact on its territory and contribute to understanding and supporting environmental, industrial and societal transitions.

  • Facilitates collaboration, decompartmentalization and systemic, interdisciplinary approaches in the university's various fields of activity: innovation, research, academics, knowledge dissemination.
  • Involves all of the university's structures (components, laboratories) and the academic community (teachers-researchers, staff and students) as well as its stakeholders.
  • Reinforces USMB's commitment and visibility in its priority areas: human-environment interactions, cultural heritage and changing societies, services and industries of the future.
  • Is organized around 3 major missions: promoting interdisciplinary research on the establishment's distinctive themes, developing interdisciplinary academics and academics links, and promoting research and collaborative innovation (including the PITON and PTMI programs).

ACCENTS

As a university center specializing in teaching French to foreigners, ACCENTS offers courses in French as a Foreign Language (FLE).Awarded the "Qualité FLE" label, ACCENTS also offers Diplômes d'études/approfondi en langue française (DELF/DALF), Tests d'évaluation de français (TEF) and the Test de connaissance du français (TCF) for students, professionals, applicants with French nationality, migrants to Canada or Quebec, and any non-French speakers wishing to certify their level of French abroad.
