Quality commitment

The USMB is committed to the continuous improvement of its operating methods and, more generally, to the implementation of a quality policy. This is an "ardent obligation". It must enable us to consolidate the results we have achieved in research and development, as well as at academics , with the aim of meeting the expectations of our stakeholders ever more effectively. Students and their families, staff and external partners must be the main beneficiaries. With a view to social responsibility, the approach we have adopted is also concerned with the deontological and ethical nature of our activities in terms of environmental and social issues.

The commitment rests on three pillars:

  • A process-based approach ;
  • Implementation of continuous improvement cycles;
  • Deployment of an internal risk control methodology.

The USMB is in line with the quality standards established within the European Higher Education Area, and the resulting expectations of the French High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres). It was recently awarded the European HRS4R (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) label.
