Events for the general public
As part of the 2nd National Plan for Open Science, the USMB offers numerous events for students, such as the “My Professor Is a Researcher” meetings, as well as for the general public, including a series of lectures held throughout the Savoie Mont Blanc region: “Amphis for Everyone,” participation in Researchers’ Night, and annual participation in the “My Thesis in 180 Seconds” competition, as well as the Festival of Science.
The university also partners with the Centers for Scientific, Technical, and Industrial Culture (CCSTI):Eurêka (in Chambéry) and La Turbine Science (in Annecy), as well as the Chambéry-based association Science-Actions. These partners organize numerous events throughout the year featuring researchers from USMB.

The “Amphis for Everyone” lecture series is offered throughout the Savoie Mont Blanc region. These monthly lectures provide the public with an opportunity to meet a researcher from the USMB.

Are you curious about science? Do you want to understand social issues and the challenges they present? As a partner of the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, the Eurêka Center for Science Culture organizes the “Between Lunch and Science” events.
