Events for the general public
Fully in line with the second national plan for Open Science, USMB offers numerous events for students, such as the Mon prof ce Chercheur (My Professor, the Researcher) meetings, as well as for the general public, including a series of conferences held throughout the Savoie Mont Blanc region: Amphis pour Tous et Toutes (Lecture Halls for All), participation in Researchers' Night, and annual participation in the My Thesis in 180 Seconds competition and the Science Festival.
The university also partners with the Centers for Scientific, Technical, and Industrial Culture (CCSTI):Eurêka (in Chambéry) and La Turbine Science (Annecy), as well as the Chambéry-based association Science-Actions. These partners organize numerous events throughout the year involving USMB researchers.
