The travel plan
The Université Savoie Mont Blanc Travel Plan aims to ensure sustainable management of home-to-work, business and visitor travel.
It also includes a review of incentives to limit staff travel.
- See maps and directions to University sites
- Discover useful websites for alternative forms of transport (urban transport, departmental buses, trains, carpooling, carsharing, cycling).
- Teleworking
Use public transport
75% of the cost of your home-work pass is covered by the USMB.
Université Savoie Mont Blanc is committed to partnerships with local transport companies, in particular through the signing of agreements. In some cases, the agreement enables the agent to benefit from an even more advantageous fare.
Carpool or come by bike or on foot
Active modes of transport are good for your health and your wallet. Université Savoie Mont Blanc encourages the use of bicycles by providing adapted parking areas: bike racks, closed bike garages on each site.
Subscriptions to public bicycle rental services may be partially reimbursed under the same conditions as public transport subscriptions.
The USMB encourages you to carpool, and parking spaces may be reserved for carpoolers.
Use videoconferencing
To avoid travel, consider videoconferencing.
Lunch on site
Collective catering, accessible kitchenettes, outdoor tables for sunny days, choose the formula that suits you best.
