The MOBUS mobility plan
A mobility plan for students and staff atuniversité Savoie Mont Blanc
For the first time, an institution is committing to a mobility plan for the Savoie - Haute-Savoie region, in collaboration with three conurbations, with the aim of initiating joint, interdepartmental actions. This new MOBUS plan is intended to provide a framework for all the mobility initiatives proposed by the USMB, including those set out in the various sector plans.
The MOBUS plan also addresses the issue of student travel as part of their academics (semesters abroad, internships, etc.) and staff travel as part of their professional activities (research, academics and administration).
This plan is organized in three parts:
- Information and awareness campaigns;
- Actions to promote ecomobility: cycling, bus and car use;
- Specific frameworks related to USMB activities: academics, research and administration.
