Conference by Aminata Aidara: "Exister à bout de plume: un recueil de nouvelle, une thèse, un roman" (Existing at the end of your pen: a collection of short stories, a thesis, a novel)

As part of the activities of the Chaire Senghor de la Francophonie atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc and the seminar on Italian and cross-border studies organized by the Laboratoire Langages, Littératures, Sociétés, Études Transfrontalières et Internationales (LLSETI), on Wednesday April 10, 2019, writer Aminata Aidara will give a talk on"Exister à bout de plume : un recueil de nouvelle, une thèse, un roman".

The conference will take place at 3:30pm, in room 11003 on the Jacob-Bellecombette campus.

About Aminata Aidara

An Italian-Senegalese novelist and journalist, Aminata Aidara defended her thesis "Exister au bout de plume: la littérature des jeunes générations françaises issues de l'émigration au prisme de l'anthropologie littéraire" at the Sorbonne in 2016. She has published short stories in French and Italian (including, in 2014, the collection La ragazza dal cuore di carta, which won the Premio Chiara inediti critics' prize). Her first novel, Je suis quelqu'un, was published in 2018 by Gallimard.

She is currently guest author for the Fondation pour l'Action Culturelle Internationale en Montagne(FACIM).
