A science show and a first edition in Savoie!

The University of Savoie Mont Blanc is once again participating in the great national adventure of My Thesis in 180 Seconds alongside the University of Grenoble Alpes. Traditionally held in Grenoble in previous years, the final of the Grenoble Academy – 2024 Edition is being hosted for the first time in the Savoie Mont Blanc region by the University of Savoie Mont Blanc. This event is co-organized by the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, the University of Grenoble Alpes, and the CNRS Alpes, and supported by numerous partners.

As a reminder, this competition invites volunteer doctoral students to take on the following challenge: present their thesis topic in 3 minutes only and explain their thesis topics to as many people as possible, in front of a professional jury and a non-specialist audience, using simple, understandable, and convincing language!
The goal of this evening? To offer you a unique scientific show, in an original format that popularizes science! My Thesis in 180 Seconds is an event that promotes access to and understanding of science for all.
