Committed to ensuring that its international students receive the warmest possible welcome, USMB organizes orientation events throughout the year. Thus, from August 25 through September 1, 2018, 105 students of 18 nationalities participating in exchange programs with USMB will take part in the third orientation seminar, which combines French refresher courses with outdoor activities.
This orientation week allows international students to:
- Discover a stunning setting, nestled between lakes and mountains!
- meet other international students at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc
- improve their French skills before starting classes at the university
- take part in outdoor activities and make the most of the last of the warm weather in a friendly atmosphere
Every morning, they will attend French classes, and every afternoon, they will participate in sports activities organized by the USMB Sports Department (hiking, tree-top adventure courses, via ferrata, etc.). Other social activities will be offered, such as a barbecue evening in teepees, a cultural tour of Annecy, and a dance party at the end of the trip. This orientation seminar is held in La Féclaz, an hour from Chambéry.
