6th International Conference on the Theory of the Uniform Distribution

October 1, 2018, 12:00 a.m. - October 5, 2018 12:00 AM

From October 1 to 5, 2018, the Mathematics Laboratory (LAMA) at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, in collaboration with the University of Liverpool, is organizing the 6th International Congress on Uniform Distribution Theory.

About the conference

The UDT International Symposium on “Uniform Distribution” is a biennial event. It serves as a vital forum for exchange within the scientific community it serves. It is held at various locations across Europe. The scientific field in question is well represented in numerous institutes and laboratories, primarily in Europe, and the “UDT” conferences serve as a source of inspiration and stimulation for the entire community.
The aim of the conference is to present the latest developments in uniform distribution theory, covering various areas of number theory and ergodic theory; in particular, all theoretical, numerical, combinatorial, Diophantine, and probabilistic aspects will be addressed. Several sessions will be devoted to developments in one-dimensional and multidimensional continued fractions.

The UDT topics are diverse; details can be found here.

This conference invites active researchers to present their work in these fields.
